Information about data-protection responsibilities when using IPcom CRM.

1. IPcom Limited
IPcom Limited, Company number 602426, VAT number IE3466701MH, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland, operates IPcom CRM.
2. Controller and processor roles
Where IPcom Limited processes information for its own business purposes, including sales enquiries, billing, account administration and support, it will generally act as data controller.
Where a customer uses IPcom CRM to process personal data relating to its own customers, sellers, contacts, employees, members or other individuals, that customer will normally act as data controller and IPcom Limited will normally act as data processor.
3. Customer responsibilities
CRM customers remain responsible for determining their lawful basis for processing, providing appropriate transparency information, managing data-subject rights, observing marketing rules and configuring the CRM consistently with applicable data-protection law.
4. IPcom Limited as processor
Where IPcom Limited acts as processor, personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable service agreement, documented customer instructions and legal obligations.
5. Security
IPcom CRM includes authenticated access, role-based permissions, restricted administrative access, audit and security controls designed to support appropriate protection of personal data.
6. Data Processing Agreement
A separate Data Processing Agreement will form part of the commercial service documentation where IPcom Limited acts as processor. It will address processor obligations, confidentiality, security, subprocessors, data-subject assistance, breach handling, return or deletion of data and other applicable processing terms.
